As of 1st December every year, the residents of Witham on the Hill are asked to decorate their windows in the countdown to Christmas day. 24 residents are allocated a unique day in which to have their windows displayed, and this year was just as successful as those in the past. As you can see, with everyone's resourcefulness, there are some marvellous creations and a big thank-you goes to everyone who took part.
With the Village Hall celebrating day 1 along with the switching on of the village's Christmas Tree lights and a get-together in the Hall, the remaining 23 days were eagerly awaited and as can be seen by the photos below, there are some beautiful windows gracing our village.
Christmas 2026 will be much the same and Frances will be the leading light in ensuring those who want to take part receive their respective numbers nearer the time.
