Laurel Hedge Installation
At the request of some of our residents, the Parish Council made representations to SKDC for having a replacement Laurel Hedge installed on East Green. This was requested in 2023 but due to funding, wasn't available to our community until now.
The hedge planting began on Monday 8th December and works will continue for two days, seeing a total of 30m of hedging installed. The original hedging which managed to survive will be removed and reutilised elsewhere and will not be added to landfill.
10th Dec - The hedge has now been completed, with a total of 100 bare root saplings being planted.
